Approximately 40,000 abandoned manufactured homes populate North Carolina's landscape. They are here to stay, because local governments have no tools to condemn them or funding to remove them. This calendar highlights some of our state’s many "abandoned beauties." These abandoned homes won't go away by themselves. Clean-up legislation proposed in the N.C. General Assembly offers a solution. If nothing is done, North Carolina can look forward to a future of more abandoned homes every year!

i'm angry about what i got, nice photos ruined by babbling text superimposed on them. the preview photos are LIES! skip this mess; don't be fooled like i was.

I'm disappointed in the calendar because the finished product doesn't look like the preview images posted on the website. Instead of being able to see the photos clearly, each calendar photo has a text overlay (some are humorous, some not) that obscures the lower part of the image. Three of the different month's photos aren't really visible at all. I would return it, but apparently that's against Lulu's policy. However, be warned that the preview link on Lulu's website does not fairly represent what the calendar looks like. I would love the calendar without the additional text covering up the pictures, but as it is, I'm very unhappy with my purchase.

The calendar is at it again. Its got the attention of the Manufactured Housing Institute. It continuing to foster debate. See our latest press or contact the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners.
