MY 2008/2009 CALENDAR COLLECTION has been added to my lulu store with more coming in the next week or so! It's been a long time coming but THE ADULT VERSION of my 16th book called SOMETHING NEW & BEAUTIFUL / Sweet & SAUCY Poetry which contains a total of 113 poems for a total of 260 pages - with dirty words and all - has been published! This is my third day away from work out of a total of ten and I haven't seen The Sun or a Blue Sky, yet! It is more like late Fall then Spring and we are expecting a NorEaster for Tuesday and Wednesday, also! All of this bad weather has inspired me to write todays poem which I will be posting to my Blog after my Supper of American Chop Suey and a couple of ice cold Beers that didn't need any refrigeration. I just left them in my yard for an hour or so which reminds me that we need to buy a NEW GRILL for our annual Barbegue which it may sadly be to stormy and cold for this year. Maybe, we'll eat in and save the money for The Grill until next year IF the weather down't get better SOON! I miss seeing the ladies in their Spring clothing, too which is just another part of The Beauty of Spring! Hopefully Spring will awaken SOON! We Shall See!

Today is the first day of my 10 day vacation and except for going out for my usual Saturday breakfast with my wife LUCY and going out to pick up my new pair of glasses which keeps bringing the song I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW - THE RAIN IS GONE to mind - I spent most of the day in doors because sadly THE RAIN is NOT gone! As far as I can remember I haven't seen The Sun on The Week End for this entire Spring. I am praying for (at least) 3 SUNNY DAYS out of 10 for my Spring Vacation. We Shall See. As always - I have a lot to do indoors or out so I will do whatever The Weather allows. I also plan on sleeping later than 4.00 in the morning which is my usual CRAWLING OUT OF BED time. I'm looking forward to STAYING UP LATER and GETTING UP LATER, too - and also visiting a few of my Friends wonderful Web Sites such as The Minnesota Hillbilly Gil's portugues-recipes.com

as my German Car,
These brown eyes

as The English Sea,
My smile
is as white
as snow and ivory,
But no part of me

It's the COUNTDOWN to my Spring Vacation. Just 4 more woking days to go and I'll be off until the Tuesday after Memorial Day! Hopefully the weather will be FINE and I'll be able to get out and about with my REBEL to shoot some ne photographs for COLOURS FROM THE SUN/Book Two which is already 33% complete! I often surprize myself with HOW FAST that I am able to put my Beautiful Books together. 20 more poems or so - to go and my ninth poetry publication will be HOT, HOT, HOT of the presses in time to take along to The Beach to share with all of the Lovely Ladies there. As always - I'm just an old man of love and peace who aims to please! I GUARANTEE IT!
I 'finally' made another sale on LULU today - just 200 or so more sales this month (Yea, Right) and I'll be able to pay me mortgage which will make me misses LUCY a very HAPPY
misses, indeed!

Bea says - I'm good at peace,
Karen knows I'm good at love,
Maggie thinks I'm HOT and funny,
But my woman's had enough.

She says that my creations,
Haven't made her one red cent,
Being a poet on The Internet,
Doesn't help to pay the rent.

I tell her there is beauty,
That money can not buy,
And all my friends are priceless,
On the Earth, the Sea, the Sky.

I say that there is beauty,
SO MUCH beauty all around,
And If you've lost your soul,
One day SOON - it may be found.

For I'm a yellow butterfly,
Fluttering from flower to flower,
I've been called The Duke of Earl,
As I flew from tower to tower.

I'm a simple man of peace,
Doing what I TRULY love,
