Death & Los Angeles is the first collection of poems from Ian Axel Anderson, a 23-year-old poet originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and current resident of Brooklyn, New York. The 12 poems included in the book form a deeply personal narrative that depicts the time he spent in Los Angeles, CA on several occasions over a 3 year period. Death & Los Angeles is a written portrait of the city itself as well as the author, and is a meditation on American culture, youth, love, loss, and belonging.
