Karen Cother Boyle has been writing fiction and non fiction all her life. The Butterhead series is her first offering to children who love animals, and they've been quite successful! Karen loves cats especially, but all animals are dear to her heart, and she is hard at work on more stories about Butterhead and his adventures with his friends. Having grown up in the South, Karen is very familiar with the mystery of the Southern lifestyle, the delight and magic of the Southern landscape and its inhabitants, and has always been a nature lover. Karen's education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, a Master's Degree in Art Therapy, and she is also a mural painter. And, she paints in oils for her own pleasure. When she's not busy writing and painting, she creates middle-to-high end jewelry as a hobby. Karen currently lives with two cats, and is ever on the lookout for more little furry faces that want to become her children
