Craig Evan Watson
Craig Watson, MD, PhD, is HSC Professor of Neurology and HSC Professor of Cell Biology and Human Anatomy at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He is the Founding Director of the Wayne State University Comprehensive Epilepsy Program; where he was a member of the Departments of Neurology and Anatomy and Cell Biology from 1994 to 2012. He received his medical education at UC Davis, and his doctorate in Human Anatomy at the University of Michigan. Dr. Watson completed his residency training in Neurology at UC Davis, School of Medicine, and was a Visiting Scientist in the Epilepsy Program at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University, School of Medicine. Dr. Watson specializes in neuroimaging in epilepsy. He also has research, clinical, and educational interests in neuroanatomical correlates of neurological disorders and has received multiple awards for excellence in the teaching of Neuroanatomy and Clinical Neurology to medical students and residents.
