I'm a disabled writer who writes for e-book and audio. I wrote my first story when I was 5, my first play aqed 13 and my first full-length novel the time I was 15. I try and include as diverse and inclusive a cast of characters as possible in my novels and plays: to reflect real life and because telling stories that aren't often given a platform makes things more interesting. I write a lot about families, love and relationships because I'm fascinated by how people's minds work and I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I read and listen to everything from children's and young adult fiction, through literary fiction and classics to thrillers and chick lit. One of the reasons I love writing for audio is because I think actors are brilliant and love nothing more than hearing them bring characters and stories to life. The first time a professional actor read my work (as part of a playwriting course), it blew my mind.
