I have graduated at the "Accademia di Belle Arti”, I took a MA in Painting restoration and then a PG in Japanese and Korean art. I have now completed a Research degree with a project called “Nature and the rituals of gesture”. I have participated to various exhibitions and projects in the USA. I had solo exhibitions in Germany, Italy, Portugal and England and won few prizes. I am very passionate about Japanese art and culture and my artworks express the harmony between a logical research, my personal feelings and instinctive actions. I use paper as a symbol of the universe and ink as a representation of life and movement. I also use natural materials such as cork and a red soil originated from the volcano "Etna” from my country.
